ty for telling me, i'm gonna join the discord. right now my favorite arc is water 7 followed by sabaody archipelago. my favorite characters are doflamingo, usopp, and franky
Water 7 is amazing, it's such a shame that robin gets sidelined so often after that arc :(
I always wanted her to get a bunch of pistols strapped to her so should could draw 10+ guns at the same time and blast mf's XD
Hope you enjoy the rest of the anime, if you ever catch up the manga is popping off right now and would fully recommend it!
legend of the galactic heroes. god, it's so good. especially if you love fucked up, entrenched internal politics with empires reminiscient of those in the 19th and 20th centuries. set in space. the most well-meaning characters never get by. everyone is for their own self-interest! definitely something i recommend.

Just binged Frieren and Bocchi the rock recently
Both were great!
I enjoyed Bocchi the rock more than I expected. Absurd humor does not always work on me. This time around it clicked. That poor girl has a wild and intense imagination. Favourite moment is definitely the solo guitar moment.

I guess I'm currently watching "Little Witch Academia." It's a great show overall, but I kinda stopped this past week or two ago when it got to an episode with one of my least favourite tropes: the one where a character switches bodies/appearances with another. (Ok here it's more like one character becomes a visual copy temporarily, but it has a similar effect.) I know I should get back to it since the rest of the show is good, but christ nothing sucks the life out of me than that trope. The only show to ever do it well was "Gravity Falls". Even then, probably one of the weaker episodes in that series.
