I'll definitely check them out! I've had OMORI recommended to me before and it looks really cool. If you like management games Lobotomy Corporation is really interesting while also challenging and Library of Ruina is a card game from the same devs which I just started playing!
I'm down to play RoR2 for sure! But I'm going on vacation soon so I wont be on for a bit over a week but we can play after if you'd like! c:
My discord is ".badaim." if you want to talk about when we are both available! :3

I'd Heavily recommend this to anyone who likes arcadey pick-up-n-play games and Unbearably Brutal roguelikes to check out this and especially Spelunky 2. The latter has rollback netcode and crossplay, so the multiplayer in it is pretty sweet compared to the limited single-screen couch co-op of Spelunky HD.bfrawg wrote: Thu Jul 04, 2024 2:55 pm My favourite roguelike, Spelunky, is $3.74 USD right now. Super addictive and difficult platformer. If you go in blind you're gonna have either a terrible time and uninstall or one of the best gaming experiences possible.

Cassette Beasts is a creature collector from Bytten Studio set in a 90s-inspired world with an extensive fusion mechanic (demo)! Record monsters onto cassette tapes, turn into monsters, prevent a housing market from developing, and combine hearts with companions to remix into all sorts of fused monster forms. With a banger soundtrack, cozy 2.5D aesthetic, captivating plot, and a recently introduced multiplayer mode, it is a distinctly great twist on the genre popularised by Pokémon. Personally, this is the only game in its genre that has managed to keep my attention for long periods of time, at least so far.
Available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
Made with Godot and developed entirely on Linux!

Re: Steam sale gems
ahh the steam summer sale is almost overrr but!!! i cannot reccomend the zero escape series enough. very fun escape room puzzle mystery visual novel with amazing voice acting!!!!!!!! all 3 games in the series go on sale for so cheap.
though, theyre also ds games which u can emulate as well. the ds version of 999 uses the dual screen feature increadibly; although the voice acting in the rerelease is sooo good imo. its worth playing twice for both experiances. the story is worthh it. criminally underrated series

If you like old shooters check out hrot. Its a quake style game, and it has a pretty unique aesthetic imo. The art direction is on point and I really enjoy it. The dev wrote the game engine in pascal, so that it would run on potatoes.
