Metal album recommendations?

Maybe this could be a thread for asking for metal recommendations in general :D

For me, I really like stuff that is a bit fast like deathcore or metalcore. Occasional clean vocals or melodic stuff like in All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us (Architects) is also really lovely on the ears.

I would love to hear more suggestions from all different types of metal though!! :)

i think the new slam bands are very fun!! some albums i rlly like from this "new wave" of slam are: Slamaholics and The G Code–both by Peeling Flesh, Slamzilla – Krocophile (my favorite), MWB – Infectious Jelqing, and THROUGH THE HELL – ENEMY 906

also, very different type of metal but still raw as fuck are Dopethrone – Electric Wizard and Dopesick – eyehategod (you can probably see a theme there lol)

I don't know if you would like it but I highly suggest Houdini by Melvins, It's a really good early sludge metal album that was produced by Kurt Cobain and this band was one of Nirvana's biggest inspirations.

I've been personally on a 00s Metalcore kick lately so you may or may not like what I'd recommend.

I'm not usually a fan of metal, however i really really like atmospheric black metal. i highly recommend Deafheaven's Sunbather if you haven't heard it already, as well as Loathe's I Let It in and It Took Everything.

Kapmeswonden en Haatliederen by Gnaw Their Tongues is a recent favorite of mine. Also recommend Mirror in Darkness by Serpent Column.

don't think anyone said this but fallingwithscissors is an amazing metal breakcore band their last ep was my favorite from 2024 highlyyy recommend its :3 // also just the last knocked loose album and away with words - what to think about again is a super short really good ep :O
